Micro-Donating 

If you have been following my blog this past week you have seen that I had to get a new phone. From this, I discovered a new active app for Samsung called the Samsung Global Goals app.

This app allows me donate to 17 different causes and Samsung even kicks in some spare change to match our donations. The amounts are somewhat small, but if you're a micro investor like me you know how powerful little ammounts can be over time. Hopefully, this same concept will be true for this charity platform. 

I've been using the platform for about a week now. I've made my way all the way to $4.11 earned from watching ads and exploring the Global Goals app. This might not seem like much, but all I have to do is let and ad play while I am doing sometime else, so it's extremely passive and for a good cause. Plus, Samsung will match my donation 100%, so I have really earned $8.22 for charity in one week. This is far more than I would have been donating on my own!

I'm not entirely sure when I will be cashing this out and for what charity, but it is super satisfying to see the numbers climb. It's nice knowing that I am able to help meaningful causes. Also, I like sharing this in case it inspires anyone else to start donating!

What do you think? Seem like a good cause? Or am I just wasting my time?
