For those that don't know, I invest $10 each week into my M1 Finance Portfolio. It goes in every Monday and gets invested into my underweight holdings that way my portfolio will eventually balance out. Sometimes, I have additional money that flows into the portfolio because of dividend payments that fall in as well. Today we had the weekly $10 and an additional $16.12 from a dividend payment. So altogether I had $26.12 invested today.
This money was sprinkled among 4 different companies. We have $PPL, $CAT, $NSC, and $IRM being bought. Below you can see how the $26.12 was spread out for the companies. I'm sure some of these purchases do not make sense because the amount invested is so low, but that is perfectly fine for my investing strategy. I like to buy whatever my portfolio knows is currently underweight. Plus, these are dividend paying stocks, so even the littlest amount of fractional shares will provide me with dividend income.
Let me know what you think of these purchases or if you have any opinions on these companies!
