Guide how to mine crypto with your computer, no skills necessary. True passive income without any investment.

Here's my short guide how to mine crypto with your computer, no skills necessary. True passive income without any investment, simply set and watch the money to roll in. Don't do this on your old laptop or a phone, please. You might overheat the CPU and kill the device. A PC with a proper heat-sink and a fan or a water cooling system would be the best option in this case.

When I first time read about Bitcoin I wasn't all for it and didn't trust it enough to invest any money in it. So, silly me, decided to do a research and found a way how to mine Bitcoin. It was quite quick research and I realised that if I want to truly mine some new bitcoins I would have to heavily invest into the equipment. And we're talking in thousands of dollars. Yep I've missed the train by a few years.

Quite sad, I still kept reading and found another way. Mining other crypto. Even there was (too) many choices I've managed to knock it down to Monero and a few other Cryptonight currencies. Had a Vega GPU and they were really great in this corner of crypto (!bud much less choices mining other coins! - don't rush buying one yet, please). Anyway, mining Monero was fun and a massive learning curve for me. Also, quite nice passive income. ...until Monero switched to RandomX - a CPU only algorithm.

To make some profit I turned my Vega cards (yep scaled the mining a bit up) towards ETH and even not so profitable, still plenty of fun and overall a good feeling about helping the crypto world to grow.

Monero switching to CPU only algorithm wasn't great for my passive income but it opened an opportunity to many other people. People who never had GPU in a first place. Right now, no matter how fast of slow your PC is, you're able to earn one of the best cryptocurrencies in the world. Not going to write about Monero, you can do your own research.

Let's talk about how to make some money without any skills.

Go to MoneroOcean.stream and enter your XMR wallet address and click on the Web Miner. That's it! Should I do it a bit easier?

Can you see this link? https://moneroocean.stream/#/dashboard?addr=48VGGDaFWeedcSGkJ1Ww3eUnMxzGCgoMwV6ZS5enen9u1PjoWduKxszcy81zLCvoDEUmeBoGXu2adEqWV1Z6aGGHECnymR6&web_miner

Replace this wallet 48VGGDaFWeedcSGkJ1Ww3eUnMxzGCgoMwV6ZS5enen9u1PjoWduKxszcy81zLCvoDEUmeBoGXu2adEqWV1Z6aGGHECnymR6 with your one and open it in new tab or window. The script will take care of everything and in a few seconds or minutes you'll see the speed - I mean how many hashes your CPU is capable to do. This number is pretty important as it will determinate the reward for your work.

As you can see, the current speed of my CPU is about 95 hashes per second and the overall average speed 105H/s.

Monero web mining

100 hashes per second would make less $0.01 per day but I'm running this in virtual box (alongside other sessions), using a web miner. My CPU, even already a couple generations old, should make about 4,200 H/s (using a proper settings and a miner instead of browser) and that's something we can consider a mining. Making 4k hashes per second will make about $0.20 per day. If you have free or really cheap electricity, you're going to be in profit here. And what processor Am I talking about? AMD Ryzen 5 1600X. If you have anything better, your passive income will get even better. You're lucky enough to be a proud owner of AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X? You should be able to make $2 each day - over 40 kH/s.

Check this website if you want to see how many hashes does your CPU: https://monerobenchmarks.info/

Also: https://www.whattomine.com/coins/101-xmr-randomx?hr=4200.0&p=0.0&fee=0.0&cost=0.1&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate if you want to have a rough idea how much money you can make with a different hardware.

That's it for today.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, happy to help with your little project.

I'm not affiliated with any of the websites I'm linking to in this article. The Monero wallet address I'm using is a donation address to the MoneroOcean pool, found in their Help section, under FAQ - Are you accepting cryptocurrency donations? What are pool wallet view keys? - the very last question.

TL;DR:

1) Go here - https://moneroocean.stream/#/dashboard?addr=48VGGDaFWeedcSGkJ1Ww3eUnMxzGCgoMwV6ZS5enen9u1PjoWduKxszcy81zLCvoDEUmeBoGXu2adEqWV1Z6aGGHECnymR6&web_miner

2) Change the wallet address

3) Hit Web miner.

4) Get rich! XD

Saw crypto as a way to make some cash, a get rich quick scheme. Learned about the tech and will stay in forever. Watching the GOV spending in 2020 made me realise how fiat is controlled way too much and becoming worthless be a minute. Bitcoin for the WIN!
