A new day and a new drawing, today I share with you the process of drawing the actor Cillian Murphy , the famous face in the world of cinema. And as usual in every drawing, I draw the character’s features step by step, so that art lovers can follow the development of the drawing from the very first lines until its completion.

In the first stage, I focused on placing the basic lines to draw the character of the actor Cillian Murphy. I was content with drawing some details such as the eyes, the ears, and the hat only, while I left the rest of the facial details empty in preparation for completing them later.

In the second stage, I added slightly clearer features, as I began drawing the details of the nose and the mouth and defining the eyebrows, while highlighting some fine lines around the eyes. The form became clearer and its features came closer to the real character, while I still maintained the simplicity of the lines in preparation for the coming stages.

In the final stage, I completed the drawing fully, as I added all the fine details from the shadows, the clothes, the hat, and even the cigarette that makes him look very real. The lines became clearer and more distinct than in the previous stages, and the shading showed the facial features clearly. I still cannot draw the shading well, but it is acceptable. I draw and shade several times — I draw, then erase the drawing, then redraw it again until I get good and acceptable features, haha. I put in a lot of effort and time into the drawing, and I hope you like the result.

Tools Used in Drawing

Stage One: I used a pencil to draw the initial lines and outline the character's features.

Stage Two: I relied on Picsart Pro to change the background and add the basic coloring.

Stage Three: I used Snapedit.app to improve the final image quality and make it clearer and more precise.
