Hope as our Lifeboat

Hope as our Lifeboat

When the pandemic hits the world,
Many lives were lost,
Families were mourning,
The whole of humanity was grieving!

2020 was the year that we considered the most challenging,
We abide by the rules thus practiced social distancing,
We were cautious to whom we were in contact with, thus, wearing a mask was the thing,
However as 2021 kicked in, there was another variant of Covid 19!

Are we doomed?
Will the world end so soon?
Are we destined to be like this?
Will the new variant of covid be like an oceanic abyss?

We can't help but feel so helpless,
We can't run away with it, but we can fight against it,
Remember, as long as we are still breathing,
Life is meant to be lived and be HOPEFUL about things!

My Reflection on this poem I have written:

This poem is a reflection that despite the new variant of Covid 19 hits the world again, we must be steadfast with our FAITH and always be positive about things. Our life is fleeting, however if we remain optimistic, we will surely overcome this pandemic.

It is just a season in our lives where we can be HOPEFUL about the whole situation thus entitled it with "HOPE as our LIFEBOAT." Likewise I have reminded by my mentor at the Truly Rich Club, wherein one of his guiding light as of this year, is to find our WORDS in order to be motivated or at least to be encouraged in keeping the pace of life. We can't just be dragged down with the new variant of Covid, thus on an early Sunday morning I went to check into this powerful site https://www.dayspring.com/yourwordquiz and took the quiz to know what's mine.

I was really surprised when I reached  question 7 questions and word came out as....OVERCOME!"

This has pretty much great relevance to what I am currently facing in my life and I know as my faith tells me, I can definitely Overcome all these because these are just seasons in my life. I thank God for this word which gives me "HOPE" to surpass all these adversities.

Three is a Crowd!
Three is a Crowd!

Back when my ex-boyfriend (now my hubby) and I were still dating in Doha, since I don’t know my way to that hotel where we supposed to meet for the first time (actually it was recommended by a friend) so I asked her to accompany me instead. She has been living in the Middle East for two years so she knew her way around the area. True enough, (my hubby) at that time arrived too early and like I mentioned from my previous post, I was not really so into him so I was thinking of matchmaking the two.
