Zilliqa has announced that its recently released ZIL coin will be activated for staking. This decision would invariably allow its customers to earn more ZIL.

In addition, Zilliqa revealed that the main cryptocurrency exchange, KuCoin has become its first staking partner, integrating ZIL into its network.

According to the announcement published in the project's monthly newsletter, the customers were informed of the availability of the staking code and the documentation which would allow them to build prototype services for the tests.

The Zilliqa team on staking update explained that Quantstamp had completed a security review. Adding that no major problem has been identified.

The production staking contract has been deployed on the main network. While the staking contract report is now public, work on the non-private staking contract has officially started.

Zilliqa is banking on more exchanges

Zilliqa, in his publication, confirmed Kucoin as a staking partner and noted that more exchanges would be added shortly. Several customers have received this sad news as many clamors of additional exchanges.

KuCoin, which recently launched the Pinocchio project, said its ZIL added due to its recent increase in value. Noting, assets have recently exceeded 4 million transactions since the launch of the mainnet last year.

Additionally, he currently has unprecedented community engagement, largely due to his two major SocialPay campaigns. According to CoinGecko, the project is ranked 34th.

In addition, several users have turned to Zilliqa's social media accounts to demand participation in more exchanges. Binance , which recently added ZIL to the Binance widget , completed the exchange survey desired by customers.

Renaming of KuCoin Futures

As KuCoin has taken a major step in becoming Zilliqa's first staking partner, it has made progress in several other areas. The stock exchange recently renamed its KuMEX futures trading platform to KuCoin Futures.

After the brand change, KuCoin Futures will devote more resources to the platform. This is to keep the products polished, leading to launches of BCH , EOS and other assets.

It will also provide new features, such as cross guarantees, dynamic hijacking of high frequency trading and important data risk controls. KuCoin Futures will provide users with secure and fair financial derivative services.
