- The Bitcoin price shot up again this week to $23,000, followed by another drop. Do you know, the bitcoin logo was revealed exactly 13 years ago!

- This week and for the first time Arbitrum (L2 on Ethereum) surpassed Ethereum in number of daily transactions.

- Coinbase this week launched its own Layer 2 on Ethereum called "Base", the blockchain will be based on Optimism Stack.

- MetaMask Bridges launches support for L2 Arbitrum and Optimism networks.

- Binance has announced a partnership with Ingenico, a provider of payment terminals in France for cryptocurrency payments.

- Alchemy Pay now supports Google Pay to allow users to purchase cryptocurrency using fiat.

- Google Cloud will become a validator on the Tezos blockchain network. Google's enterprise customers will be able to deploy Tezos nodes to build Web3 applications on the network.

- ⁠Mastercard to enable crypto payments in Web3 via USDC settlements.

- Sony partners with Astar Network for the web3 incubation program.

- Abu Dhabi launches $2 billion initiative to support Web3 startups.

- German giant Bosch partners with Cambridge-based artificial intelligence lab Fetch•ai to create a foundation to promote industrial applications using Web3 and AI.

- El Salvador has now opened a Bitcoin Embassy in Lugano, Switzerland and Texas, USA.

- Paraguay is on its way to becoming one of the biggest hubs for cryptocurrency mining, thanks to cheap hydroelectric power in the country.
