- Bitcoin prices reaches $38,300. Note that Bitcoin Lightning Network is 1,000 times cheaper in terms of fees than Mastercard or Visa.

- “There is no reason for SEC to deny ETF spot Bitcoin”, says SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce.

- Changpeng Zhao resigns as CEO of Binance. Binance founder CZ agrees to step down and plead guilty. Binance will also admit to wrongdoing and agree to pay $4.3 billion in fines. This is the seventh highest financial fine ever recorded in history. JPMorgan considers the agreement reached between Binance and the American agencies as “positive” for the industry.

- Polygon engineer Jarrod Watts warns against Blast. Blast is in full hype and its TVL is approaching $300 million.

- The Phantom wallet launches Cross-Chain Swapper, a bridge that allows you to exchange tokens between Ethereum and Solana directly in the application.

- The Philippines is exploring blockchain to sell government bonds using digital currencies. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is testing CBDCs for large financial transactions.

- Polygon has revealed a partnership with MyLugano, the crypto payments app from the Swiss city of Lugano that enables payments at 400 points of sale on its 3Achain blockchain.
