- Bitcoin is still trading around $30,000. The number of BTCs inactive for 5 years has reached 29% ($235 billion at the current rate), most of these BTCs are probably lost forever.

- Chainlink opens access to the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), a protocol for interoperability between chains.

- Solana which is a layer 1 blockchain launched in March 2020 announces Solang, an important update which introduces Solidity on Solana and which could well revive the DeFi activity.

- Binance officially integrates Bitcoin on the Lightning Network, deposits and withdrawals are now open. By the way, Binance achieved its 24th quarterly burn, 1,991,106 BNB, or 1.27% of total issuance, destroyed.

- SG-Forge, a subsidiary of Societe Generale, is the first company in France to obtain PSAN approval (approval allowing companies to carry out cryptocurrency-related activities).

- Tesla said it did not sell any of its $333 million in Bitcoin in Q2 2023. NB: Tesla now wants $950 billion on the stock market, surpassing the valuation of Toyota, Porsche, Volkswagen, Mercedes, General Motors, BMW, Ford, Stellantis, Honda, Ferrari, Nissan and Renault combined.

- Myanmar is launching the country's first cryptobank, Spring Development Bank will be based on Polygon.
