- Bloomberg reports that Bitcoin Spot ETF issuers have cleared a “major hurdle” for SEC approval. January 10 is the maximum final date for the SEC's decision on the application of 21share and Arkinvest, but the others could also be part of the positive or negative decision?
- Vitalik Buterin publishes an updated Roadmap for Ethereum. Significant progress has been made on "The Surge" to improve network scalability, and a focus is on "The Scourge" to alleviate centralization issues.
- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Argentina has confirmed that contracts can be settled in Bitcoin in the country (to pay debt, rent, employment, etc.).
