So what you're saying is, man can only become a god in a vacuum of purpose and meaning. Because I am an entitled, ungrateful narcissist for whom pleasure can not be experienced without the subjugation of others, Eden isn't good enough for me. I must therefore destroy the happy creature, malign him as a slave, and replace him with a depressed, unfulfilled, wannabe creator. Harmony, beauty, and love are obstacles to my success as the president of a broken mirror factory, and so I must destroy these things and turn the people into soulless petty deities so that my business and religion of the self may thrive. It's not possible to render the world meaningless before destroying the soul; to achieve this, I must convince the happy, dumb, sedated creatures that it is better to be a creator in a miserable wasteland than it is to be a creature in an Eden full of intellectual curiosity, excellence, and art. Life is not important; the sanctity of death is paramount. Man is such a creature, the most godlike thing he can do is destroy the garden, exalt his smug, ridiculous grin upon the throne, and replace his reason to live with all kinds of grandiose declarations that point straight to hell.

Every time I hear someone refer to themselves as a "creator," I cringe. The reasons are touched upon in the article "Why Artists Should Never Call Themselves 'Creatives.'" I have always found it to be a self-important term, employed by people for whom the "creative act" is something that strokes their ego, rather than inspiring them. Art is not produced for other people's consumption, even if it is commissioned. Art is produced to inspire the artist.* I can't think of any other reason to do it, and yet it is not a selfish act. To destroy a garden because you didn't plant it is one of the most selfish acts I can think of.
Art does require money, patronage, space, time, etc.; it does NOT require a hall of mirrors and a selfie stick. This fundamental misunderstanding is why we are where we are today. "Creators," petty deities for whom the subjugation of the culture to their will is the highest pleasure imaginable (a state of mind which makes true art impossible), are everywhere. To paste the text of an article on Substack, or upload a video to YouTube, for example, it is necessary to click a button that actually says "create." Not "upload," but "create." To upload a cat video, or write an article on a platform that doesn't even allow you to format the text.

I find that to be appalling.
Not to malign the cat video; indeed, I believe the uploaders of cat videos do a great service to mankind.
But they're not "creating" anything.
I've always found the over-use of the word "creator" to be annoying, but before watching the video above about the Army's "PSYOP Satanist," I never thought of it as an example of mass mind control.

I have consolidated more thoughts on the topic into this comment, which I posted earlier today on the video below:
"Great to hear. The sanctimony inherent in the derision of your former mindset is one of the reasons I left the US. The 'lack of imagination as a virtue' theme is unbreathable. It enables the takeover of a culture by power-tripping hacks whose only talent/virtue is being famous and/or rich. Cue narcissistic influencer culture and the lack of humility and intellectual curiosity required to maintain it, and the subsequent devolution of the arts into 'content creator' territory, where the ego of the so-called 'creator' (oh lofty one, snap thy fingers that I may stand before your disposable product in awe of your power) is more important than the 'content' (not art) he or she produces. Like factory workers who produce garbage for pure consumption, sitting like objects of spiritual target practice on a conveyor belt of pragmatic death.
Heartfelt congratulations. If you can do it, so can others. There is hope! At least for the individual..."
The problem isn't new, and it didn't happen organically. We have been forced into this slaveyard of narcissistic petty deities by the forces of evil. Reject the term "creator" when applied to anyone other than the God of the Bible, and release your soul back into the garden of joyful, happy creatures where it belongs. I'm talking to myself, y'know.
Better late than never.
*The person who commissions the art pays the artist to inspire him- or herself, and is commissioning the work because they understand and appreciate the process, and want the artist to enter the place where true art is made. The place where ego suffocates from lack of a sulfurous, self-righteous environment to sustain it. The paradox is that the artist is making the art for his or her own reasons (discovery and exploration, almost always), but if the artist is truly an artist, not even ego will get in the way.
