The Harsh Reality

The Harsh Reality

By Nathan Payne | pablosmoglives | 21 Nov 2020

I'm writing this for the benefit of one person, but I want to be able to refer to it in the future, so I'm writing a blog about it.

I'm aware my tone can be harsh.  I'm copping to it now.  You can guess the reasons why; they aren't important, and certainly nobody's business.  I am working on it, and I am able to work on it because I can cop to it.  But let me encourage you:

Don't ignore what I'm saying because I come off a little harsh.  My aggravation may express itself in ways that the estrogentrified societies north of the Rio Grande may find offensive, but that is all the more reason to take note.

Why is it offensive?  Why is this guy's tone bothering me so much?  Why is it shutting down my capacity to hear him?

Brainwashing, and estrogentrification.  Nobody is immune from it, especially in places that put their sanctimonious social rules above reason.  In fact, that tendency is the reason for the aggravation.

Allow yourself some aggravation.  Stop being so comfortable in the daydream.  A certain amount of denial is necessary to operate comfortably in a system based on fear and lies.

If you can't cop to it, like I can cop to coming off a little harsh, the harsh reality of your situation will catch you off guard, suddenly, and you will find yourself in real trouble.

Thanks for listening.
