I shot some video today of my walk to the church, and a conversation I had with a Vaquero. It felt forced, watching it later. I'm not really a content
Creator. I'm a writer. I filter what I see, and write about it
Later. Writing is like making coffee, building animals, or smoking. The memory is coffee, writing is the water through the filter, and the poem, or the song, or the article, is a cup of super-caffeinated
Crazy roast. Writing is a cigarette filter, and the writer distills the pure, healthy smoke out of the boring, carcinogenic blow-by-blow account of the events, and turns it into something that makes your
Head buzz. Interesting,
Or not. But that's the goal. The question is no longer whether or not we're going to Heaven. The question is, are we going to heaven via
Guerrero Negro, or low-flying sea?
I offered my services as an English teacher to the church next door for free, in exchange for a place to live with my cat. Unless they call me very, very soon, it isn't going to happen. I can't call them. So, Guerrero
Negro, Black
Warrior? The coolest name for a town
Ever? On the border of Baja Norte and Baja Sur, about halfway between Tijuana and La Paz. Will we be walking, driving, or
Floating through the low-flying sea enroute to
Heaven?
Dunno yet. But I'm not worried about it. Woulda been, a week ago. Maybe even more recently than that. But faith has increased by leaps and bounds. If we fall of the edge of the world in search of El Dorado, I want to say for the record that we aren't really looking for El Dorado. We're not looking for anything anymore. We've found so much already, that there's nothing else to find. There's no reason to search for your own face. Tell the kids. They need to hear it. It's all about faith now, and whatever God wants us to do.
If God inspires you, donation options above and beyond the Patreon subscriptions do exist. If He doesn't, it's none of my business. It's up to Him. Either way, I sincerely hope to see you in Heaven, if not sooner.
Thanks for listening,
N
