AI Generated Imagery to Create Your Own NFTs

By CryptoCelt97 | Other | 2 Jan 2022

NFTs have surged in sales this year, culminating in billions of dollars worth of trading volume across a multitude of different chains. It's proven to be a lucrative endeavor for those who have jumped on board.

Though, for many like myself who have no artistic talents, we've been relegated to minting NFTs and purchasing/selling them on secondary markets like OpenSea or Solanart.

AI generated imagery could be a method to create and mint your own personal NFT without having to rely on artistic talent or knowledge of programming.

How do I create a AI generated NFT?

A few weeks back, I stumbled upon Wombo art. A site that allows you to input some text and turn that text into randomly generated imagery. The site can be found at; https://app.wombo.art/

Once on the site, you can test out some phrases/words and see what the results are. I decided to run a few examples which you can see below. I thought I'd run a few searches for my publish0x username: CryptoCelt

After typing your prompt in the search bar, you can choose from 14 different art styles that will give you a wide range of results. Experimenting with the range of styles is recommended to find your preference and some will end up better looking than others - sometimes you can get some strange results!

I thought the best looking result for the prompt I gave was the one below, which I used the 'Baroque' art style.

I played around with the various styles and also used the 'Mystical' style option. I didn't think it resulted in anything to clear though;

The 'Steampunk' style ended up looking interesting;

Lastly, I tried the 'Fantasy Art' option;

You could probably create a pretty cool card NFT collection using this type of AI generated imagery.

The ability to mint these as an NFT is in the works and will hopefully be released soon - hopefully there will be an option to mint on different chains in order to have cheap transaction fees. Once minted, you can then try your luck and sell these on s secondary NFT market. Therefore, for now you can't mint of this site but it should be an option soon. In the meantime, it can be a fun little app to experiment with and see what results you can get.
