1. Cardano's Shelley Incentivized Testnet records 11 billion ADA staked

The Cardano ecosystem has been focused on maintaining and enhancing the Shelley Incentivized Testnet. The progress made in terms of the Incentivized Testnet has been substantial. Communications Director at IOHK, Tim Harrison, recently compiled the latest Incentivized Testnet stats, revealing that Cardano has reached 1,046 number of registered stake pools. 2. Use Cryptocurrency to Trade ‘TRUMP-2020’ Futures

Cryptocurrency derivatives exchange FTX has created a new, specialized futures contract for traders to bet on President Donal Trump’s reelection in 2020. Dubbed TRUMP-2020 (TRUMP), FTX announced on Feb. 5 that the contract expires to $1 if Donald Trump wins the 2020 US presidential general election, and $0 if otherwise. TRUMP works the same way as all other futures on the exchange, the announcement noted. 3. Binance will roll-out BNB/USDT perpetual contracts

One of the world’s largest, Malta-based cryptocurrency exchange Binance will add its native token to its Futures market. Binance Futures announced that it will launch of BNB/USDT perpetual contract. The BNB/USDT perpetual contracts are slated to go live on 10 February at 8:00 AM [UTC]. Binance also noted that users on its platform would be able to choose between 1-50x leverage. 4. Bitcoin Newly Created Addresses Sees Sudden Spike

The number of new Bitcoin (BTC) addresses is growing at a rapid pace while the coin's price flirts with $10,000. Bitcoin has recently experienced a sudden uptick in new non-zero addresses, its biggest one since April's rally. The leading cryptocurrency is attracting more users after its price gained more than 30 percent this January. 6. Pomp still believes Bitcoin $100,000 in 2021 is imminent

Bitcoin has climbed back above the psychological $10,000 per bitcoin mark for the first time in five-months. The sudden jump in the bitcoin price comes as bitcoin traders and investors are gearing up for the looming May bitcoin halving event, which will see the number of bitcoin rewarded to miners cut by half. 7. Weiss Ratings Upgrades Bitcoin to A- Ahead of Halving

American provider of investment data Weiss Ratings has ranked Bitcoin (BTC) as “excellent” by assigning it an A- grade due to improving fundamentals and positive price action ahead of Bitcoin's next halving. Previously, in late March 2019, Weiss Ratings put Bitcoin aside XRP and EOS as cryptocurrencies that have the best combination of adoption and technology. 8. More Than 23 Million Entities Holds Bitcoin: Report

According to the latest report by blockchain analytics firm Glassnode, using innovative data science methodologies, researchers have determined that around 23 million entities hold bitcoin. The Glassnode approach is able to resolve one of the factors that make the address approach false. The firm is able to map multiple addresses to its single owner.
