A Coinbase Review

In my time of being integrated into the know of the crypto chain world I have come across many excellent and financially saticefying finds as well as quite a few duds and scams along the way.

One of my better finds and this weeks topic for review is the widely known crypto exchange Coinbase.com

Coinbase has spent the last several years since its commissioning on March 6th 2013 growing becoming one the the crypto worlds more trusted and renowned cryptocurrency exchanges.

One of the largest exchanges on the known market spectrum Coinbase stands strong with a whopping community base of over 25million users with holding in more than 30 countries around the world.

With a still growing fan and user base, Coinbase is constantly updating and doing their best to improve upon the user experience in what can be a largely complicated system. The platform offers an easy to use web access point as well as a somewhat personalisable app that can be found and downloaded for free on googleplay.

Coinbase is one of the safest and most secure methods of exchange with a 2-factor security measure that doesnt just require access to your phone or your email individually but it requires access to both. It will first ask you to verify your phone access and then will ask for you to give a secondary access code that will be sent to your email address.

To add to their top rated security factors, in order to keep all off your investments as secure and sound as possible they store around 98% of all stored currency loaded to your account in an encrypted offline cell wallet. The 2% or so that remains in the direct line is backed by an almost banking level security encryption in order to block out any attempt at cyber attacks.

They also offer a personalisable feature for app users that allows you to lock out the app on your mobile devices remotely using a user based pass code in the case of said devices ever being lost or unfortunately stolen.

Over all I would rate Coinbase to have a very high ranking ease of use as well as offering a very non-complicated payment system in which allows you to link your checking or saving account for deposits and withdrawls.

If you are uncomfortable with linking your personal banking information their is another option that may also suit you. 

You can link any visa debit or credit card for purchasing. What I personally did when first trying their services was to go to my local surplus store (ie, Walmart, K-Mart, Costso, etc.) and purchase a prepaid debit card. Once you have your desired amount loaded and ready to transfer you may link the card and use it to purchase your desire assets.

When the time comes that you decide to withdrawl funds from your assets listed you may do so using a linked Paypal account which provides its own user security. Coinbase currently only excepts Paypal access specifically for withdrawls.

And if your worried about keeping track of your profits and losses for tax time as any sound and smart investot would be dont fret as Coinbase keeps a fully automated record of all transactions coming in and out of the platform as well as providing its users with a gain/loss calculator report.
