With the COVID-19 pandemic I've been thinking a lot about how to stabilize my long-term income. Quality content has always been the gold standard for quality, long-term income. Here are a couple of my thoughts on why Publish0x is the best platform out there to learn how to write quality content and create long-term passive income.
Why Create Quality Content/What Is It Quality Content?
Before I get in to the reasons Publish0x is at a great place to get good at creating quality content I want to go over quickly what quality content is and why you would even want to get good at it.
I'm no marketing guru but what I do know is when I read something I like, I like to read more of that thing. And that's what quality content is. It's something that compels people to want to come back and get more. When people want more of the content you have they will want to search you out in more avenues. When you get really good at writing posts here on Publish0x, followers will increase, views will increase, likes and tips will increase but that's not where it ends.
The goal with creating quality content is to be platform-proof. Becoming platform-proof means if Publish0x suddenly decides they're not going to pay you for writing or God-forbid the website closes you have set yourself up to continue to create income and not start at ground-zero at the next place you go. I see several people on here link their personal websites, their twitter accounts, their YouTube channels, etc. That's how you become platform-proof, you have other avenues open (and eventually your personal website where your dedicated fans go) so that if every platform on the web closes you still make money because you own the one, most important platform - your brand.
No Risk
One of the most difficult parts to learning how to do something well, whether it's being a business owner or a good writer is the risk involved. At Publish0x there are no consequences to being bad. If you write a terrible blog then guess what, it get's buried! Nobody will ever see it and you will get the chance to get better next time. Nobody will be mad at you for writing a shitty blog because you didn't take anyone's money. Nobody was counting on your post creating a certain amount of clicks or revenue.Â
High Ceiling
With Publish0x still being in a quasi-infancy stage of it's website lifetime there is a significant amount of growth that can be achieved at this stage. If you look at the large content publishers out there, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Etc. The largest influencers there joined in either very early on or in a quasi-infancy stage. Case and point for this would be PewDiePie. He joined YouTube in 2011 and started making videos, YouTube started in 2005. Today PewDiePie has 104M subscribers and makes BUCKETS of cash.
That's the exact same type of opportunity we have today with Publish0x. Now am I saying that Publish0x will be as large as YouTube? Hell no I'd be bat-shit crazy saying something like that. What I am saying is when content platforms are at this stage of their growth, where they've started to gain some traction but haven't hit the fly-wheel of momentum yet. This time period is where the people who will define that platform and make buckets of cash come from.
Reach
Where else can I go where I can decide to write one day then the next gain nearly 100k worth of potential readers for no money? Nowhere that's where! If I had to start writing on my own blog it would take YEARS to gain some of the traction you can get in one day on Publish0x. Advertisers pay thousands and millions of dollars to be able to reach a couple thousand loyal customers and we get the opportunity to do it for free.
Income
People will usually laugh at the amount of money you'll make for the first several posts you write. I know I've spent probably a combined 3-4 hours on my first 4 posts here ($0.28 earned total for my first 3). But that's where all the biggest money-makers here started. One example is Cryptonator. He's not the biggest but he proves my point perfectly. It took him 16 posts to break $1 made for a single post. 16, can you imagine even writing for sixteen hours to not even make $1? Well now he makes at least $5.00 per post, not to mention all the referrals and outside revenue sources he's starting to create.
That's what it takes to gain traction in any platform. Working, getting better, perfecting your craft because you know down the road it will be worth thousands of dollars for the work you're doing now to make $0.03. And we get the opportunity to make SOMETHING for getting better in the grind. Not every platform can say that.
While writing my previous post I realized Publish0x really is the perfect platform to learn how to create what is in my opinion the holy grail of income, quality content. I wanted to share that realization with you all.
