Who hasn't had it. You have been exercising and now you have muscle pain. You want to get up for a while, but it doesn't work. Everything hurts. You know it can take 1-3 days, but still very annoying. Unfortunately, completely preventing muscle pain is not possible, but there are things you can do to reduce the chance. Below are 5 tips to reduce the risk of muscle pain.
Fruit
Blueberries have a good effect on the removal of waste products from your body. This is an example, because there are of course more fruits that can do something for you.

Water
Drink plenty of water. You need to drink about 2 liters of water per day. You do this to keep the blood flow in your body optimal and ensure that you get rid of most of the waste products. This also makes your muscles more flexible.

Active restore
Keep moving after your workout. Of course I'm not talking about a second workout, but things like stretching muscles, rolling foam or taking a walk.

Eat enough protein
Proteins are the building blocks of your muscles, so you need them to be able to recover, so make sure you get enough protein to prevent muscle pain and get the best results. Proteins are contained in various products such as poultry, meat, vegetables or legumes.

I take omega 3
I take omega 3 after my workout. These are anti-inflammatories. This is for example in fatty fish such as salmon or vegetables such as broccoli or spinach.
