5 mistakes to avoid after the gym


Whether you are a fitness beginner or have been in the gym for years, everyone can still make mistakes before, during and after training. Exercise and going to the gym can have a huge impact on your body, so treat your body with respect. I started in the gym when I was 15 years old, years before I went to college. So I have learned a lot over the years. Below are 5 mistakes that I think are important to avoid after my gym workout

I don't do anything after the gym
Sports is good for you and rest is also very good for you, but when I am in the gym at 8 in the morning and finished after an hour and sit down for the rest of the day, then I get really stiff. Exercise is still very good for you, just not with the intensity as it is during exercise. Things like dynamic stretches, foam rolling and functional exercises with your body weight and abdominal exercises are good examples that I still do during the day. These exercises boost circulation, relieve muscle pain, promote good posture, and more.

Eating fast food
Maybe you know it or you did it. You have done a good job, time for a tasty burger menu. I used to not notice it, but as I get older more and more. I understand that you want to reward yourself, but your body must also be rewarded. Therefore, do not eat so fatty, because fats slow down the digestive process. You want to get the fast nutrients that are absorbed into your bloodstream and can enter cells quickly, which means that 20 to 30 minutes after your workout, you need to replenish your supplies with high-quality protein and carbohydrates to feed your muscles.

I forget to stretch
Muscle stretching is very important to improve the blood flow to your muscles and your tightly trained muscles to bring length. When you have been training your muscles for more than an hour, good stretching and stretching exercises of 10 seconds per repetition are very important. If you don't do this, you increase the risk of injury.

I don't rest enough
Funny, I wrote above that you should do things after the gym. And now I say take more rest. Well this is both true, because by getting some rest, taking it easy or going to bed nice and early, then our body will recover and rebuild when we sleep.

I forget to drink
By drinking I mean water of course. You may drink while exercising, but often not enough. That is why I often drink after my training, these are of course not a liters in a row, because otherwise you are unhealthy again.
