Be Ware of Toll-Free Numbers

By Debesh Choudhury | Number One Tip | 21 Sep 2021

I received an email reminder from my bank about Toll-Free numbers.

Be Ware of Toll-Free Number Scam

I think it is correct. We shouldn't blindly trust a Toll-Free number.

We may seriously think and take necessary precautionary measures while using any toll-free number.

----------------------------

Protect yourself against fraud by following these quick & easy tips

  • Never use search engines to look for any Customer Support number
  • Always visit the official website/app of your credit card service provider to contact for support
  • Contact the Helpline number mentioned on your credit card

Remember, no Toll-Free or Customer Support number will look like a mobile number. It will always start with 1800-, 1888-, 1844-, etc.
