Welcome to my second post here on Publish0x about my at home mining experience, I hope to encourage you to pursue at home mining, make passive income and to not be overwhelmed by the thought of what it takes to mine Bitcoin on your own, I am new to the mining aspect and what it takes to be successful in mining Bitcoin, so I hope to learn from you as well.

That said, I know I said I was going to go over specs in my last post but I think that will have to wait.

Maybe I should have looked into this more before being halfway done downloading Bitcoin Core onto my laptop but there are a few internet search results that say "solo mining", which I assume is what I am doing, isn't possible via Bitcoin Core, and hasn't been for a while.

I'm going to look more into this, and I would definitely appreciate comments helping me figure out if this is possible.

I'm not concerned over electricity/power costs as utilities are included in my rent, which is why I wanted to give this a try in the first place. I am more concerned with whether I can even get this off the ground.

I am no expert when it comes to mining, and as far as I'm concerned, I'm here to document my experience and more importantly LEARN.

I'm using Crypto Tab browser to mine

You can mine using just the computer if you wanted to, but its a mining pool built into an internet browser.

I am going to post my link here. Honestly, still figuring out if its worth it but I figure even if I lose money initially, the growth over time will eventually MORE THAN MAKE UP for what I'd call an "initial investment."

If you think its something you can make work for you, check it out using my link. If not, tell me which cloud mining service you use and if you have a referral link for a service I haven't signed up for yet, I will use your link.

Next post(probably Sunday night), I'll go over my reasons and motivations for starting this mining/passive income journey.

I don't want to be a passive income blog that just posts figures and whether or not something is worth putting your money into.

I really want to get into the things that happen in our lives that motivate us to do such things. I have a lot of unique reasons why I started doing this and I'm sure all of you do, too.

Thanks for taking the time to read this
