Last week news broke that the lawfirm Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks known for representing the Hollywood Elit and the biggest names in the music industry had been the victim of a hack by the ransomware group behind the malware Sodinokibi and i wrote about this yesterday.
The ransom has now dubbled to $42 million in Monero (XMR) and the hackers are now going after the worlds most powerful man Donald Trump.
The hackers also wrote a message on the dark web when they doubled there ransome claim.
"The next person we'll be publishing is Donald Trump. There's an election race going on, and we found a ton of dirty laundry on time. Mr. Trump, if you want to stay president, poke a sharp stick at the guys, otherwise you may forget this ambition forever. And to you voters, we can let you know that after such a publication, you certainly don't want to see him as president. Well, let's leave out the details. The deadline is one week."
Page Six reported yesterday that Trump hasn’t been a client of Grubman’s according to there sources.
Business Insider reported that Grubman had donated to Democratic campaigns and that that that that would make the law firm less incentivized to pay up in order to protect Trump. This is just plain and lazy journalism.
Hillary Clinton received donations from both Donald Trump and Trump Jr 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007, Trump has also donated $100,000 to the Clinton foundation.
There is something with the message from the hacker collective that has been nagging me and i initially thought that it was as spelling error, the wrote that they found a ton of dirty laundry on time, i cant find any information that the law firm has worked for Time Magazine.
The Weinstein Company and Playboy Enterprises have been clients of the law firm for many years, could they be sitting on something that Donald don't want the public to see, no i think time is just referring to a publication without naming that company but in a way so that the person that they want to pay them to know what they have ( I have been watching to many movies :).
Using the wayback Machine i have found out that American Media Inc has been clients of Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks for many years just ending there partnership sometime in August to september timeframe of 2018.
So why could this be as explosive as i may think.
CEO of American Media inc is David Pecker, longtime friend of Donald Trump who starting in 1998 began producing Trump Style, A magazine given to guests at Donald Trump's properties.
AMI is also known for preventing individuals from publicly revealing information on Donald Trump and using the technique Catch and kill.
In 2019 Trumps former lawyer Michael Cohen testified under oath to the House Oversight Committee that he and Pecker conspired to "catch-and-kill" stories which had the potential to damage Trump.
National Enquirer was also involved in the Jeff Bezos blackmail scandal of 2019.
So to summarize, if the Russian hacker collective has managed to find the legal documents of all the Catch and kill stories that Pecker and Cohen managed to kill and possible more explosive content.
Next week Trump won't have to use the fake Obamagate conspiracy theory to deflect from all the people dying from the corona virus in the US and hiss handling of this pandemic because he will be the only thing that people and the media around the world is going to be talking about.

First getting 40% percent of Americans and the whole Republican Party to love Russia to then turnaround and bury them and making it really hard for them to say anything that is not contrary to what they have been saying for 4 years.
Only time will tell if the collective is paid or if the Russian secret service FSB decides that this is a step to far made by the collective and stops them.
