Under Financial market, markets are categorized depending on assets traded and size. Shares, bonds, securities and derivatives are also traded on the Fin markets and those traded assets are offered by different exchanges e.g WALL Street trades mainly shares. Lets look at Forex market vs stock market.

Forex Markets

It is a market place where different country currencies are traded against each other. It is traded 24/5, higher leverage are offered, and less margins.

The market is traded on 3 different sessions which are, Asian, European and US. It is traded on different different trading platforms such as MT5.

There are different different time frames used from 1min to 1monthly chart. It trades a daily volume of about $5 trillion.

Stock Markets

It is a market place where shares of companies are traded, as long the company is listed on the Public exchange. The market is open only for a few hours. On this market trades only trade what they have e.g you can not sell shares which you did not buy so you you have to buy then sell later. They are traded OTC. It is low leveraged.

Just to wrap it up, Forex Markets are liquid as compared to Stock Markets and the Stock Market Market is a large Market with low liquidity. So for long term investment and stable one the stock market will be the best but it requires a large capital for you to enjoy large profits and for higher and faster profits Forex market is the best.
