I used to like visiting other schools because I liked observing what made one school distinguishable from its counterparts. But after a while, my enthusiasm died down because all schools in Singapore feel like carbon copies of one another.

Still, I thought this staircase was intriguing. At the very least, it would appeal to the animal freak son. I hadn’t even shown him this photo before he started rambling how the liver of a polar bear is poisonous because it contains an excess of Vitamin A. Flabbergasted, I showed him the photo and then Googled to triangulate his information. Turned out that he was right! Goes to show that an addiction to YouTube does yield some benefits.

His curiosity was ignited by the fact about ostriches having only two toes. (Again, he asked me to Google it.) Somehow, this process of discovery fired up his imagination because he asked me to Google “Which animal would win in a fight, the ostrich or the cheetah?” 😅
