I am not an expert in the field of AI, so I can only express my opinion on its development in the future and a possible transition to AGI, or "superintelligence".

We know that research into the safety of using AI in everyday life is ongoing.
At this stage of its implementation, we do not have to be afraid of specialy threat.
However, it is not known how the security resulting from its use will look during the development and transformation into AGI.
Today at every step we meet AI, often without even knowing it.
For example, all algorithms that process terabytes of data of people using the Internet adjust the content to the interests of the individual.
In some countries this has gone much further. Such as China, where the facial recognition system can locate every citizen.
Biometric data is also used in many corporate applications.
The fact is, we will be even more dependent on AI in complex digital systems.
Machine learning will certainly develop, which is already applicable in many areas of life (e.g. in predicting traffic intensity at a specific time).
People will live in smart homes, use applications that monitor their health, make massive purchases via the Internet, work remotely, use cryptocurrency payments, drive intelligent vehicles, learn remotely, and have a diet tailored to their body condition.
The point system for social civic attitude will reward the obedient and punish those who do not want to conform to generally accepted norms ..... and so slowly the script from the novel "1984" will become a fact ... which I neither wish for myself nor for you .
This is obviously a pessimistic vision, and I hope the people who work on AI will exercise the greatest caution in applying it to all mankind.
Because on the one hand, AI can be a blessing, and on the other, a curse.
