Germany’s Black Manta Capital Partners (BMCP), a Security Token Offering (STO), platform on May 1 announced a partnership with digital asset custody firm Finoa. The partnership will see the two parties provide enhanced tokenized security services for institutional and professional investors.

Security Tokens Gaining Steam
On April 14, Black Manta revealed that it had tokenized real estate, worth $12 million worth, in Berlin on its platform, open to investors in Germany and Austria. More properties are expected to be tokenized, which will be open to investors all across the European Union.
The $12 million real estate project is the Tigris S17A project that BMCP and Finoa that are collaborating on, and is a large residential apartment 2000 square meters in area and home to multiple apartments.
Several reports have emerged in the past year concerning the significance and growth of the tokenization of real estate, including one by the University of Oxford. Benefits of tokenization include allowing investors from across the world to invest in lucrative real estate and investment entry at an affordable price.
On April 17, capital markets focused firm tZERO and Vertalo announced that they had tokenized $300 million worth of real estate on the Tezos (XTZ) blockchain. Financial group Elevated Returns and Securitize also announced in 2019 that they would tokenize $1 billion worth of real estate on Tezos.
