Gods Unchained is an online, trading card game, built on the Ethereum blockchain. All of your purchased cards are stored on the blockchain, so they will be truly owned, allowing you to buy / sell / trade however and whenever you want. The game is currently in open beta and you can get started playing now for free.
The first set of cards for Gods Unchained, known as the Genesis set, will only be available for two more weeks (October 29th is the cutoff date)! Once the sale ends, you'll only be able to purchase Genesis cards from other players, but no more packs will be sold. These cards will never be reprinted, so this is a limited-time opportunity to get in early rather than having to pay premium prices for individual cards. There are 380 cards in the set, with 4 rarities (Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary) with 3 different shines (or foils), Shadow, Gold, and Diamond.
If you're new to Cryptocurrency and/or don't have any Ethereum (ETH for short) to spend on cards, you can earn some for free by watching a few videos and answering a couple of questions over at Coinbase. The videos are only 5-10 minutes long.

Anyway, it's basically free money. All it takes is a minimal amount of time to watch the videos and answer questions. If you go through the steps for all of the Coinbase Earn Crypto options, you can earn over $50 worth of cryptocurrency! Not bad.
The currency you receive will not be Ethereum, but Coinbase allows you to easily swap between currencies, so you can easily convert your XLM, EOS, etc into ETH, send it to your wallet (I suggest Metamask if you don't already have one), and use it to buy cards. (note: if you are a new Gods Unchained collector, the best value packs are the Rares)
