Mining cryptocurrency with your mobile phone is possible thanks to projects such as Electroneum (ETN), Pi Network and Phoneum (PHM) projects designed specifically for smartphone mining.

Electroneum is a relatively new project that aims to bring the benefits that cryptocurrencies offer to millions of people, especially those in developing countries who do not have access to a banking system.

Their site claims that it can be mined up to $ 3 a month with the App, but from my first tests and calculations i have done, I believe that the amount at the moment is below $ 1 / month. Probably this may depend on the fluctuations in the value of Electroneum (ETN) in the crypto market. The developers of Electroneum have chosen to limit the way in which the cryptocurrency (ETN) is created - also called mining (mining) - limiting it only to mobile devices (smarhpone) through their official App, which is available both on the Apple Store and on Google Play.

 In reality what the Electroneum App does is not a real smartphone mining. In fact, it is better defined by the developers as "CLOUD MINING", because the calculation operations that serve the network do not take place in the mobile phone but in the Electroneum servers.
