World has a new Upper Class - Trillionaire

Last week's SpaceX IPO created the worlds 1st public Trillionaire, Elon Musk. I said 'public' as I believe deeply that some of the old money families (Dynastic money) were already at the Trillionaire status, however, not published for safety reasons of course.

If you have followed me on Pub0x for any length of time you know I've been warning about the destruction of the middle class in America. Now I fear that is complete as we have a new Social class wealth hierarchy. As the lower class stratifies into several more class well below the poverty line the middle class is being redefined too. I have to believe the Millionaire in now upper Middle class. Where is that cut off of Middle Class and Upper Class remains to be seen. Seems like just yesterday IF you have $1 Million dollars that bar has been moved to $15-20 Million before any level of comfort exists. How long before that value is 10x current levels?

Perhaps this new class map is not on day one, but maybe by 2030?

Population on Mars?

What if all the wealthy fled the Earth to habit another planet such as Mars? How would the world react? Would society thrive? As others stepped up to fill the void in areas vacated by leaders and forward thinkers? Or would societies as a whole devolve into enclaves of power vacuums much like they did during the collapse of the Roman empire? And would the wealthy only return to rule over the masses after that time?  Or would they create such a perfect world on another planet they would not look back? 

Our world is changing rapidly due to many different advancements, seems like we are entering an entire new era.  Will newly generated wealth be for the betterment of all or some?

Sure that is a question for the ages, it makes me wonder nonetheless

Summary

Perhaps my new social class ranking system is too far fetched, what if I am only off my a few years?  Could you envision a world where $100 Million is construed as lower class? Would you want to live in such a world? Not sure I would.  Regardless I am reminded of the quote "Beware a nation of sheep, ruled by wolves and owned by hogs!!!
