Tron joins Agentic AI Foundation

TRON has joined the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), an open foundation driving the transparent and collaborative evolution of agentic AI. 

As you know and suspect at this time in 2026, AI is becoming more embedded in our everyday technology through tools that perform real tasks in business as well as consumer environments. Know that the volume of machine-driven activity is expected to grow significantly.  As AI advances towards singularity autonomous AI systems will depend on open, reliable, and globally accessible infrastructure to operate securely at scale.

What is the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF)

AAIF was founded in Dec. '25 and it was started by the Linux foundation.  Their stated mission is to provide a neutral, open foundation to ensure this critical capability evolves transparently, collaboratively, and in ways that advance the adoption of leading open source AI projects.   All fancy verbiage for saying they are going to be bringing MCP, Goose, and Agents.msd under open governance!  Which I expect to translate into full stack Agentic AI projects over time.

A new AI infrastructure must natively support payment systems

The new system must scale well locally and globally, they must be fully reliable and bring operational efficiencies to the masses for the coming high-volume and low-value transactions. 

Summary

TRON has stepped up yet again, this time joining with AAIF and participating in their Governing Board, no more Crypto being an after thought for certain all while reinforcing open source and AI governance.   Anyone else believe this is a long-term play by TRON to be ahead of the entire Global payment system running on stablecoins?
