TRON DAO expanded global university network with collaborations at Columbia and Harvard blockchain clubs
TRON has a successful commitment to blockchain education and talent development. TRON expanded its academic outreach through the TRON Academy initiative. Which is a global program designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world blockchain applications. Last week TRON held two more prestigious University events held at Columbia University and Harvard University Blockchain Clubs. Each University was able to have about 30 participants for the event. Not a bad showing for first time events at these facilities. As we all know crypto is still in the early innings of this new digital realm.
TRON Workshop covered the following topics
- intro to the TRON ecosystem
- key Web3 sectors:
- including Payment Finance (PayFi)
- covering real-time settlement,
- cross-border transactions
TRON closed by briefly speaking on the broader Decentralized Finance (DeFi) landscape.
TRON's academic network, already includes world-class universities for example:
- Dartmouth College,
- Imperial College London,
- MIT, Cornell University,
- Princeton University,
- University of California, Berkeley,
- Yale University.
Summary
TRON is partnering at the global level and educating at the local level. I believe these are two critical elements to influencing and increasing adoption. Linking into top University systems is a way for lower tier schools observe then follow their lead. Skills are going to be paramount regardless how much AI is performing in our traditional economy. If you are attending one of these schools I would love to hear from you to see what else they spoke about.
