Working online is one of the most attractive options for many. It is one of the suitable options for those who want to work from home or from anywhere else, which provides them with the flexibility to organize their time and work the way they want.

Digital Jobs have become a worldwide phenomenon, especially during the pandemic period and after Covid-19. Everyone is looking for extra sources of money or a quick and non-tiring income, especially those who do not find permanent work in the real world. They turn to the virtual world because it provides them with a source of livelihood with facilitating conditions such as reading, writing content, crypto trading, marketing and many other jobs created along the technological progress . 

However, we must remember and always make sure that we are on the Internet in a virtual world that does not exist in reality where there is no control , no ruler, or any guarantees, so we must keep in mind that just as money doesn't come  easily in real life , it also does not come online easily as well .

In fact, the enthusiasm, and passion of earning from the Internet blinds our eyes from all the damages, considering the large increase in the rate of hours that we spend in front of the computer . Actually, nothing is free even if it seems so, profit via the Internet steals time from us in a fantastic way that we don't feel the days and the slipping precious  moments . Every day we must find new ideas, every day we are busy to plan for something else and improve ourselves,  which ensues  serious side effects .

Through my reading of some publish0x writers, I have noticed how many persons rely on passive income and are so assiduous, writing more than an article per day, stressing about their earnings and torn between investing their assets or holding them, always in search of earning sources . As a matter of fact, when the specter of earning from the Internet  controls a person’s thought, it makes him feel that his life and dreams are linked to the passive income, and without it he cannot achieve anything, that's why the person strives continuously to enlarge his business and increase profit, forgetting sometimes to live his personal life .

Eventually, like any other career path, working online has its pros and cons.

On the positive side, the person doesn't have to go to an office where he has to deal with annoying co-workers and under the commands of an unbearable boss, he could make his own special schedule that does not force him to get up early in the morning. We can say that freedom is a distinguishable feature of working online. 

On the negative side, though working online appears an easy way to increase financial profit and achieve what cannot be achieved in the real world, it takes a long time to get any wages from any job, more  gain, more pain . 

In addition, there are health damages resulting from excessive use of the Internet that may destroy the structure of the brain and may lead  to a burnout . Moreover, working inside the house requires sitting for long hours, and this prevents the person from moving, which has many side effects that may cause weight gain, back pain... or other pathologies . 

Experts have warned of the abundance of information provided by modern technology on our health. Spending long hours using the web harms the mental health , according to a recent study, asserting that the overuse of the Internet changes the way our brain works, it weakens the memory, and decreases the concentration . What distinguishes working outside the home most is that it makes the employee feel disciplined, and this is what  online jobs lack because home duties will force the person to leave his work for some time to do some household tasks or else . Above all, it brings about a feeling of loneliness, depression and boredom because most humans need some kind of social interactions and opening up to others .

Furthermore, there is the risk of scams, which can be difficult to navigate in the often anonymous online world. Hence,  the income will fluctuate from month to month, and we may not have the same benefits and protections as working outside , such as health insurance and retirement plans. 

Having the freedom to work when and where you want can be a huge advantage of working online for many people. They find that the benefits of making a living online  outweigh the negative sides . Verily, it is possible to thrive in the online world and build a successful and sustainable career through the right mindset, work ethic, and support system . Nonetheless, it may shake the balance between job, life , financial independence and health.

Just remember, no matter how much your online  profits increase, how much your professionalism improves, and how much you make of dollars per month, you will not enjoy the money if it comes at the cost of your personal and practical life,  you will always feel bored and miserable although you have plenty of money. Money is important, but not as much as your health and life are .
