I have been writing about, and have been thinking about since I began to become involved in cryptocurrency that there needs to be a weeding out of fraud and fraudsters alike. Once this occurs, it is of my opinion that we will see cryptocurrencies turnaround and become more mainstream, and more accepted across the board.
This article https://www.wsj.com/articles/first-cryptocurrency-insider-trading-case-yields-10-month-prison-term-11673372522 signals to me that the turnaround is happening. The article outlines the "first cryptocurrency insider trading case" and how the individual charged received a 10-month sentence. We need this to make cryptocurrency sustainable. We are in early now, and we will have large gains if this occurs. The individual apparently was a brother of a former Coinbase employee.
In viewing cryptocurrency as a large system, often there are subtle changes (for those who know what to look for) before the average person sees them. This happens for the better or worse. I believed the case mentioned above, is a subtle change in the right direction. Overall, the general consensus (among none crypto believers) is that it is over. It is not, that is for sure. I see the signs, some larger (Terra/Luna, FTX) and some smaller.
The end of the crypto-reckoning is coming. I am not sure if it is this week, this month, in six, months, ore more, but it is coming, and cryptocurrencies will have a sustained and longer period of growth. There is a chance, a reasonable chance that if you get lucky you can do well for yourself, as is the chance you can lose everything if you invest recklessly.
As a 90's song once said "I saw the sign."
