Thought that the greatest transformations in life are due to major decisions.
Starting a new job.
Moving to a different city.
Getting richer.
But later on understood that this is not the whole truth.
Sometimes those people who we meet are what change us the most.
Not because they help us solve our problems.
But because they change our perspective on things.
There were some people who were not close to me for a long period of time, but their words remained with me for many years after.
It happened accidentally.
But now when I look back, those words changed my mind and way of thinking completely.
Also, there were some people who taught me something important even though they did not want to do it on purpose.
There were people who showed me what kindness is.
Those people who taught me the importance of honesty.
And finally, those people who showed me what I should not be.
In my opinion, every single person we meet teaches us something.
It may be an advice.
It may be a lesson.
It may be a memory.
This is why I stopped judging a person by how long they stay in my life.
Not everyone is meant to be with us for all our life.
Sometimes a person can change us even being in our lives for only one chapter.
That is why the value of a person does not depend on how many years you know them.
Sometimes one conversation can mean more than all small talk we can make in years.
Nowadays, I pay more attention to those stories people share with me.
Everyone has some experience which I do not have.
Everyone has some knowledge which I do not know.
There is always something to learn if we are ready to listen.
It is not only about accumulating achievements.
It is also about accumulating experiences and people.
Probably in several years, I will forget many of those ordinary days.
But those people who gave me encouragement, made me question myself or just reminded me about kindness will stay with me.
And maybe this is one of the greatest moments of life.
It never stops changing its direction because of some people or conversations.
