Today we continue our journey into the world of blockchain games based on Solana. The game we speak about today is a true ray of light, a source of positive vibes and joy. Ispired by the evergreen classic Runescape, it is a game of exploration with a unique graphic style and a captivating lore.

Cathcking is a Solana blockchain game in which NFTs play an important role.

It is possible to play the game also without NFTs, but holding one of them will give you access to benefits in the Catchking ecosystem.
Catchking's NFTs come in an unique graphic style: their artwork brings back nostalgic memories of the 16 bit gaming era, but it's charged with a vibrant energy and enthusiasm, the same energy that is scattered through the whole game and community.

One amazing feature is that, when you play, your character in the game will reflect the traits of the NFT you own, which is an amazing work made by the devs of the game.

Beyond this cool feature, owning an NFT will grant you access to many benefits in the ecosystem, the most important of which is the staking idle game.

As many others games on Solana, Catchking offers staking in the form of an idle game in which you send your character in timed missions. Sending the character in these missions lock the NFTs for some time. Missions make you earn the token of the game, which is tradable on Famous Fox Federation marketplace.

Some missions grant you also the elegibility to airdrops of coupons that can be reedemed for in game items, which are tradable, too.

As you can see the ecosystem is structured and intriguing, but the best is yet to come.

Game

At the time of writing this article, the full game hasn't been released yet, but it's available a playable demo of a consistent lenght. The demo itself is extremely funny and enjoyable and gives a showcase of the features and mood of the final product.

The gameplay is very nostalgic of the 16 bit rpg action era, featuring a 2d world where your character can explore, catch little animals and discover tradable items and treasures.

The game is very atmosferic, with surprising situations, full of energy and also hironic. Nostalgia and energy mix up in an unique cocktail that will glue you to the monitor. Exploration is very rewarding because of the exquisite details of the graphic and the music, which is very well composed and produced, with a distinctive style that matches perfectly the mood of the game.

Locations of the game are exhilarant, challenging and reserve continuous surprises to the explorer. The gamplay is enriched by fluid controls which offer many level of interactivity with the elements in game.

Financial

To be honest, Catchking is such a charming and cute project that I would have played it also if it was a normal game without all the investment related stuff.
But, being on Solana, there are also all those aspects to be considered.
You can find Catchking's NFTs on marketplaces like Magic Eden. At the time of this writing, they sit at a very affordable floor price. You will need a Solana wallet like Phantom to finalize the transaction and managing the interaction with certain features of Catchking's DAPP.
Currently, there is not Liquidity Pool in prevision for the token, which will continue to be available for P2P trading.

Community

A plus of Catchking is the vibrant community. You can join the project's Discord to have an idea. It is a genuine community: you won't find the classic strangers grinding just to get whitelisted, but truly passionate people engaged in the project at various levels. Catchking's Discord offers the classic two levels of partecipation: one for guests and one for holders, who get access to events and giveaways.
Catchking is very active in collaboration with other projects, which makes it also a good Alpha resource.
