ððHere’s a simple step-by-step guide to start.

1. Get a crypto wallet.

  • Download a crypto wallet from AppStore or PlayStore. There's plenty out their. I use Trust Wallet.
  • Start the wallet on your mobile phone and follow the steps. It's straightforward.

Tips:

  • Keep your private key PRIVATE
  • Write your recovery phase in a piece of paper and lock it in a secure place.
  • Think about these two as if they were your key and code to open your house door.
  • The public key is your wallet address that you can give to anyone to send you money. No one can’t take a penny with that key.

⚠ Confused about the tips? Don’t panic, you’ll get it when you start Trust wallet app and create your wallet in first place.

2. Find a place to buy and sell crypto coins

  • Create an exchange account to convert from/ to EUR/USD or other conventional coins to/from crypto copins. I use Coinbase.
  • Select the fiat currency of your choice and do a deposit. You’ll see your Coinbase account information and to transfer.
  • Make a small transfer (usually 1€ is enough) from your traditional bank to your exchange account previously created.
  • With this step you link the two accounts, which makes the next deposits and withdraws easier.
  • Now you can transfer bigger amounts to your exchange account by some crypto coin (ETH, BTC, LTC, etc) and then withdraw to your personal account.

That’s it. You’ll became a crypto addict.   Welcome to the age of digital decentralized money. 💪   Nuno Caeiro
