The above poem is inspired by the prevailing social, political and economic conditions leading up to 2012 yet, reads relevant to our time now in 2022. This raises question: does it speak to a prophetic perception/intuition, or more realistically; the human condition is slow to change without a cataclysmic catalyst? To the reader to decide?
