In this period of Covid caused restrictions, it is difficult to have the chance to visit other cities or towns or even to have a quick walk.
So I try to take advantage of every opportunity even if the time is only of some tens of minutes.
Many Italian cities and towns have an old town where the ancient medieval or Renaissance urban structure is partly or completely preserved.
One of the typical aspects of such historical centers are arcades that can be very fascinating architectonics, but also useful when it rains or during boiling summer days as they are generally in the shade places where temperatures are less sultry.

Mainly during shopping appetizer or shopping times old towns can be crowded and it is very difficult to take pictures without people.

Castles and buildings are always nearby.

Let's return back by taking another way.

All the pictures were taken by me with the smartphone photo camera as quickly as I could to prevent to include people in the images.
