It often happens that disused railway lines are used to create cycle paths: this one connects the city of Modena to the town of Bastiglia

They are cycle paths but can also be covered on foot.

Along the way, it is possible to meet the old stations

Along the two sides of the path, there can be trees, bushes, shrubs and various plants.

The Robinia pseudoacacia is one of the most diffused trees. You have to be very careful because it is equipped with thorns both in the branches and on the main trunk.

The end of the cycle path: it is planned to carry out the continuation northward in the future.
