Today I hunted a Golden Pheasant using a new recipe. The entire ordeal took place in a country cottage under rather harsh conditions.

I remember this beer from a long time ago, when it was considered very good. It wasn't as good after that. Did the new recipe change anything?

Of course, it couldn't have been otherwise, as the tasting took place with my favorite summer dish: porcini mushrooms in cream with Parmesan cheese.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find tagliatelle pasta, so I used classic spaghetti. It also turned out quite tasty.

This tasty Pilsner-style lager, native to Slovakia, is made from local barley grown in the Hurbanovo region.
The new Złoty Bażant beer recipe is designed to clearly emphasize the balance between a light sweetness and a significant hoppy bitterness. It's difficult for me to comment on this, as I haven't had the beer made according to the old recipe with me.

Nevertheless, the beer with 4.7% alcohol and 12% extract gives a pleasant taste experience and can be recommended. The beer has a golden color, and the head is quite thick and abundant, and doesn't dissipate too quickly.
