We all know that parasitic fungi exist, many people know that there are fungi that parasitize on others, but few people certainly know that fungi can create a triangle.

This case is unique not only because of its appearance, because the parasitic fungus looks like some alien creature from space, but also because there are three fungi parasitizing here.

We are dealing here with three types of mushrooms, the hairy one is the hairy bracket, the toothed one is Irpex lacteus is a common crust fungus, and among them the corpse of the Schizophyllum commune, that's the group I got :D

Schizophyllum commune has unusual gills that split in two during drought - hence the name of the mushroom. However, during rain, or when the mushroom receives the right amount of moisture, the gills converge. The mushroom has medicinal properties due to the content of a substance called schizophyllan.

The crust fungus, on the other hand, is also distinguished by its hymenophore, which consists of characteristic spikes resembling the teeth or even the jaw of a shark or some alien creature.

It is an annual fungus that appears in May and occurs worldwide except for Africa. It lives on decaying wood of deciduous trees, on dead trunks and branches.

The last case is the fairly common hairy bracket. A mushroom considered medicinal in Southeast Asia, but considered inedible but not poisonous in Europe. It can also be found all over the world except Antarctica. I met such a group in one place.
