The cap of this mushroom can reach a size of up to 16 cm in diameter. Classically, when it is young it is semicircular, convex, with age it becomes flat like a boletus. The surface of the hat is matte, slightly suede, uneven. Depending on the aura, it is dry or slippery and sticky. The color is characteristic and unusual for porcini mushrooms, mainly pink, yellowish pink.
The leg is very characteristic, usually yellow in color, and in combination with the pink hat it looks like ... quite controversial. It can be up to 16 cm long, and can be very thick up to several cm.
The flesh is yellow in color, often fading to pink at the bottom. Very nice taste and smell.
Occurrence: In Poland, this species is under strict protection and cannot be obtained. It appears in June and grows most often until September. He likes forests with a large amount of light, mainly deciduous, hornbeams, oaks. Application - as befits a king, a very tasty edible mushroom.
