This undoubtedly beautiful species of plant, giving blue flowers, is a guest popular throughout Europe and South Asia.

The place where I found it is a beautiful forest clearing surrounded mainly by pine trees. But you can meet this plant on sunny hills, slightly shaded oak forests. Likes sunny positions, they do not have to be fertile, but at the same time they must be moist.

This plant with undoubtedly beautiful, intensely blue flowers is melliferous, i.e. very desirable for all insects. It can be grown in gardens in the ground or in pots, where it grows up to 40 cm in height. It is medium-frost resistant.

In addition to the undoubted decorative qualities, the plant also has healing properties. Infusions and teas made from it have a positive effect on the digestive system.

They support the secretion of bile, stimulate digestion. It also has an expectorant effect, which makes it helpful for respiratory problems, colds and coughs.
