Pork knuckle stewed in vegetables with beer and horseradish

Components

3 large pork knuckles, carrots, parsley, celery, onion, garlic, a bit of vegetable fat, light beer, fresh bread, grated horseradish or mustard

Preparation of the pork knuckle

Thoroughly wash the knuckle and clean with cold water, then heat up a little fat in a roasting pan. Place the pork knuckle in a roasting pan and fry it until golden brown on both sides

Then add garlic, onion and water the pork knuckle with beer. We add beers successively from time to time. Stew until tender (2-3 hours in the oven)

Add the grated vegetables

Add vegetables to the already soft meat, i.e. cheese, parsley and carrots grated into shreds. We also add spices, i.e. salt and pepper and stew until the vegetables are tender. Ready meal

The way of serving

We serve meat and vegetables on a plate and additionally a portion of horseradish. It tastes perfect with fresh bread and good light beer!
