Anemone scabiosa

In today's post, I'll describe a few more plants from the secret garden, because contrary to appearances, their number is increasing rather than decreasing over time. As autumn approaches, more interesting plant species can be observed in the garden.

Even after most of the plants in our garden have finished blooming, the Japanese anemone is still doing very well. This will continue for a few more weeks, as it blooms even in October.

Although it is quite a demanding plant, requiring fertile, sandy-loamy soil, it thrives in home gardens with a mix of sun and shade.

The plant grows up to 150 cm tall, has irregular, three-lobed leaves, slightly serrated, and beautiful pink flowers, but is available in several color varieties.

Lavender

This plant probably needs no introduction, as its beautiful scent can be detected from afar. There are as many as 47 varieties of this plant.

The photo shows a field of lavender, perhaps the most popular variety in home gardens. However, lavender can also be successfully grown in pots.
