Inky mushroom or dark scaled mushroom - a trap for Champignon from the field

Champignon growing in natural conditions are very treacherous mushrooms. Ignorance of their features and properties can lead to severe poisoning and even death.

This species is poisonous, it can cause severe food poisoning, diarrhea, abdominal pain and vomiting, so inexperienced mushroom pickers - steer clear of the mushroom.

How to recognize this Champignon species? The most characteristic feature of this mushroom is its stem, and more precisely the ring surrounding it. Yellow, yellow-orange drops of secretion appear on it, changing its color from white to yellow.

The hat is quite thick, its diameter can be up to 15 cm. In the initial stage of growth, it is semicircular, with time it opens and becomes flat.

The color of the hat is gray, white and gray. It is covered with tiny scales. The damaged flesh of the cap turns pink.

The gills are pink in color, turning brown with age. They are dense.

The leg can be quite long, up to 12-15 cm. It has a cylindrical shape, is white in color, slightly thicker at the base. There is a distinct ring on the stem, the collar is colored yellow.

The flesh has a white or slightly cream shade. It has no distinct taste or smell.

The mushroom can be found all over Europe, in parks, gardens, clearings, meadows in the vicinity of deciduous forests.
