Another of those weak and short-lived mushrooms, doomed to rain. Without it, it would not exist.

This mushroom can reach up to 15 cm in diameter. Its cap is initially hemispherical, but becomes flat with age.

The mushroom is very delicate and grows quickly. The first photos show a young fruiting body. When I went to pick it the next day, I was very disappointed.

The fungus developed very quickly and died under its own weight. It chose a spot on a piece of tree trunk covered in moss.

This species of mushroom can be found on virtually all continents, except for the extremely hostile ones, i.e. Africa and Antarctica.

It is an edible species, but due to its low taste it is not harvested.

I don't collect this species, but I love watching it grow.
