While walking around my park, you can come across interesting species of trees. This fruit tree reminds me of my childhood, when during the summer, while going to the swimming pool, I picked the fruit of this tree and ate it with taste.

At that time, I did not know the name of the tree, I only knew that the fruit was edible and very healthy. The taste of this fruit is a bit like a bitter cherry, but the ripe fruit has a lot of sugar and a specific slightly sour tart aftertaste.

I am an advocate of combining bitterness with sugar, so this fruit is perfect for me in taste, provided that it is very ripe, then it also becomes almost black in color.

The tree I am writing about is Czeremcha. It has many other names, including wild cherry, bird cherry or bird cherry, and it is found throughout Europe and Asia.

The fruit of this tree grows in leaves on loose hanging branches and is not too large, about the size of a blueberry, but most of the fruit is pitted.

The tree blooms beautifully with white flowers with a wonderful smell, it resembles a cherry tree. The leaves have a beautiful light green color, they sparkle in the sun, and in the autumn they take on all the colors of the rainbow.
Properties of fruit, leaves and bark
The bird cherry is successfully used in herbal medicine. It is compared to elderberry, and almost everything is used - leaves, bark and fruit. Many health-promoting preparations are made of these ingredients. They show antibacterial, antirheumatic, diuretic and antifungal properties

The kitchen often prepares jams, juices, preserves from the fruit of bird cherry, and infusions and teas from dried fruit. You should not eat the seeds of the black cherry, which, like cherries or cherries, contain prussic acid.
