A few days trip to the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland resulted in several observations. One of them was the predatory policy of cutting down forests.

I know that it has to be done from time to time, but what I found in the place I have been going to for 30 years exceeded my imagination.

The forests were literally trampled by heavy equipment, and I cannot remember such devastation.

There were not many mushrooms, mainly butter mushrooms and kites. Unfortunately, the forest is very dry. Even the moss is cracking underfoot.

As usual, the barbecues were a great success. A novelty was grilled kite with a little butter. It came out brilliantly. I will repeat it as soon as the opportunity arises.
