Purchawka oczkowana, miesiąc temu była piękna, teraz jest tylko zjawiskowa

This mushroom can be found quite often in pasture meadows, where there is a lot of sun and the soil is fertile. It does not like shady forest, prefers sunny grassy areas. But sometimes the growth period can be overlooked, and that was the case with me.

Tego grzybka można spotkać dość często na łąkach pastwiskach, gdzie jest sporo słońca, a ziemia jest żyzna. Nie lubi zacienionego lasu, preferuje nasłonecznione tereny trawiaste. Ale czasami okres wzrostu można przeoczyć, i tak było w moim przypadku.

When I visited Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska 3 weeks ago, there was no sign of mushrooms. The grass was green, but devoid of any mushrooms. However, when I arrived last weekend, I found descending specimens of mushrooms. This does not change the fact that they still looked quite exotic and phenomenal.

Gdy odwiedziłem Jurę Krakowsko-Częstochowską 3 tygodnie temu, nie było śladu grzybów. Trawa była zielona, ale pozbawiona jakichkolwiek grzybów. Gdy natomiast przyjechałem w ostatni weekend zastałem już zejściowe egzemplarze grzybów. Nie zmienia to faktu, że dalej prezentowały się dość egzotycznie i zjawiskowo.

The fruit bodies of this fungus are usually club-shaped or bulbous. They can be quite impressive, because the diameter of the mushroom can be even about 15 cm. My find was smaller in size, but still looked quite attractive.

Owocniki tego grzyba mają najczęściej maczugowaty, lub bulwiasty kształt. Mogą być dość okazałe, bo średnica grzyba może mieć nawet około 15 cm. Moje znalezisko buło mniejszych rozmiarów, ale i tak wyglądało dość atrakcyjnie.

The young mushroom has a whitish color, with age it becomes brown, gray. On its surface there are visible cracks, resembling eyes, plots.

Młody grzyb ma białawy kolor, z wiekiem staje się brązowy, szary. Na jego powierzchni widoczne są wyraźne spękania, przypominające oczka, poletka.

A mature individual bursts from the top, and stratifies into irregular fragments, resembling a flower's calyx. A very large amount of spores is visible inside.

Dojrzały osobnik pęka od góry, i rozwarstwia się na nieregularne fragmenty, przypominające trochę kielich kwiatu. Wewnątrz widoczna jest bardzo duża ilość zarodników.

The mushroom in its young stage, when it is still white and the inside looks a bit like a mushroom, is edible and even very tasty. It is great for frying in butter with a small amount of salt.

Grzyb w młodym stadium, gdy jest jeszcze biały, a wnętrze w przekroju przypomina trochę pieczarkę, jest jadalny i nawet bardzo smaczny. Świetnie nadaje się do smażenia na maśle z niewielką ilością soli.
